Born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland, Ryan Parker is a licensed clinical mental health professional with over 15 years of experience supporting boys, young men, and families through individual and group therapy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bowie State University in 2010 and his Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut in 2012.
Throughout his career, Ryan has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient facilities, group homes, and school-based therapy programs in Hartford, Connecticut, Baltimore City, and Anne Arundel County. His primary focus has been working with boys and men ages 7–30, helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and life challenges.
Ryan utilizes a strength-based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients build confidence, resilience, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills. He is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, valued, and motivated to reach their full potential. You will often find him completing therapeutic sessions outside on the basketball court, football field, while on bikes, and other familiar environments.
